Has anyone successfully used HDDRegenerator? software, posting, exactly, problem

Like the title says, has anyone used this software to fix a hard drive? I have a couple of drives, but don't want to waste money on the software unless it works. Thanks for any input.

I tried it out on a drive a few years ago.  I suspect it's still processing the data, and it it might be 40% done by now.

To do what exactly? Perhaps posting the problem might get help?
