Scripting question

My script/video is show here.I used for deinterlaceing

fielddeinterlace()
SelectEven()

with bad results. If anyone has some optimized for this script as well that would be great. Thanx again for your time.

No you didn't. That does not appear anywhere in your script.

I take it out but it was there. At one point. I just showing the interlaceing so people get a idea of what type interlaceing it is.

selecteven after fielddeinterlace is wrong.

Ha ha! Try giving us the script that you claim is failing.

omg, I just looking for a suggested deinterlacer for this footage. It will be going on a dvdr at 7 mintures. So I'm assumeing a bob deinterlacer would be a good pick but I dunno. I'm also looking for a deinterlacer that will keep as much quatitly as what the interlaced version is. I've noticed with tomocomp etc that it smooths way to much. This gives me the idea that again bob may be a good choice. I need some advice please.

Well then, why don't you post a link to a source clip of this footage, so that we can see what would work best on it? If TMC smoothes too much for you, turn off its vertical filter. You say FieldDeinterlace doesn't work but refuse to give the script.

Here is a picture of it with deinterlace included in the script.

I dont mind the gramma effect it gives to smooth it out abit. However it is going on a dvdr and it seems to make weird artifacts and dots.
Here is the ucl for a sample interlaced. (Same script just excludeing deinterlaceing).

If anyone also has some suggestions for different filters that would also be great.

Thanx again

P.S I edited the realvideo version to a xvid for ease of use
