DVD2AVI problem with GKnot
I am using DVD2AVI 1.76 with gordian knot version 0.26. When I make a .d2v file I always select quot;demux all tracksquot;, but the program will not extract any audio at all (or at least will not write it to a file) until I go through all the steps of resizing, choosing bitrate etc., right up to making the .avs script. At that point, when I try to encode the audio, there is of course no file. If I then go back to DVD2AVI and repeat the whole process, it will demux the AC3 file(s). I have tried running DVD2AVI twice without going through the rest of the steps, I have tried stopping it halfway through and restarting, and nothing works. The run through that does finally decode the audio doesn't take any longer then the previous ones either. About as strange a computer problem as I've ever seen...
Anyone else?
P.S. I am running Win XP Pro SP1 on an Athlon 2000+ with an ASUS A7V8X (KT400 chipset). |
