Resolution Issues After Muxing

I just used mkvmerge GUI to multiplex a 1080p MKV file (created with x264/MeGUI) and the original AC3.  However, now it is only showing at half resolution in Media Player Classic, whereas the video-only MKV played at full resolution.  I cannot for the life of me figure out why.  Unfortunately, I already deleted the video and audio after muxing (a mistake I will not make again).  The filesize is right, and the video data is all there.  In fact MPC file information dialog says quot;Video Size:   960 x 392quot; but in the text-box below says quot;Video: MPEG4 Video (AVC) 1920x784 24.00fps [Video]quot; which is right.  Further, VLC is playing at full resolution without issue.

I am hoping someone can help me identify the issue and solve it.  I demuxed the video track from the MKV using mkvextract but then when I tried to remultiplex (using a couple of different tools) it stalled after importing video data...

I'm stumped and I'm hoping it is a simple thing I'm missing.  Thanks for any help you can give me!

Edit:  After getting some help from a video guru friend of mine over IM, this issue has been resolved.  In the process of tweaking my MPC to playback 1080p AVC video at full speed, I inadvertently made some changes that resulted in this behavior.
