Well , i finaly got a program thats getting the DVDs on my computer, now i need to know how to get em off onto the Blank DVDR disks! Please HELP!
Have you thought about reading a guide or 2:
mpg/dvdbackup-guides.htm
thanks, i read the guide for my program ( DVD decrypter). The guided say that i just pick the file and then click the button that will put it on the Blank disk, only problem is that when i go to select the file, its not a file its a Folder, and theres no chooseable file inside. For example, i pick open 'I Walk the Line', and then theres another folder, Video folder, and then i click open on that one and then theres nothing in it. I know theres stuff in it but because i cant choose any of those types of files it say theres nothing. how do i get the movie on the disk if i can pic the file?
Read and search - your question has been answered many times before.
Well, if you read the guide for burning using DVD Decrypter, then you also read that it'll work only if the file to be burned is under DVD5 size (unless you have dual-layer blanks), and you also read that DVD Decrypter burns only image files. If you created those DVD files with DVD Decrypter using ISO Mode-gt;Read, then you're ready to burn using ISO Mode-gt;Write. If you created the files using the default File Mode, then you're not ready to go.
So, lets assume for the sake of argument that what you're burning will fit on a DVD5 and you put them on the hard drive using DVD Decrypter's File Mode. First, within the movie folder create 2 more folders. One will be named AUDIO_TS and the other VIDEO_TS. The AUDIO_TS folder remains empty, and into the VIDEO_TS folder you move all your video files (all the IFO, BUP, and VOB files. So you now have your I_WALK_THE_LINE folder (or whatever it's called), nested inside of which are 2 more, one of which, the VIDEO_TS folder, contains the DVD files.
There are several ways to proceed from here. One is to use ingTool Classic to create the ISO or ing file that DVD Decrypter needs to burn. You can also integrate DVD Decrypter within it so after the image file creation, burning takes place automatically.
And if your DVD files are larger than what a DVD5 can hold, then you use a dual layer blank, shrink the file size to DVD5 size by transcoding (using DVDShrink, for example), or shrink the file size to DVD5 size by doing a full-on reencode (using DVD-Rebuilder, for example). That's where the guides come back into play. |
