video sticks and skips like a record.
Every time I try to capture video from a VHS tape, my video sticks like 2 or 3 seconds into the captured file. The video (from source) plays fine, but the file doesn't. The Audio, on the other hand, plays just fine on the saved file. What can I do to resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks-epi
Hi:
I have zero experience with this, but there is a whole forum devoted to quot;Capturing Videoquot;. You might try going there and initializing a search. It works. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum!
I think you're seeing the dreaded quot;dropped framesquot; with your capture tools. Either video/audio sync configuration is causing it, or you have insufficient CPU power to capture with the settings you are using -- color space, resolution, codec configuration, etc.
There are lots of things I don't know -- capture card, drivers, capture configuration, capture software, video encoding codec, codec configuration -- so I can't give you a specific recommendation.
If you check out the quot;Capturing videoquot; forum, you'll find a FAQ, which is a great place to start! |
