Encoding mono signal in Besweet problems, question, solution

Hi, I have a Dolby Digital 2.0 mono audio and I think the best solution is to encode it in a mono signal.

I'm trying to use Besweet (v 1.4) but I can't see the mono option to use with vorbis.

Is there any reason which this option is not there ?? Is not a good idea to encode in mono vorbis ??

And I have another question. Is it a good idea to encode a AC3 5.1 signal into vorbis 5.1 ?? Can I have problems in playback ??

I don't know how to do this in BeSweet. For the time being, you can use HeadAC3he.
