VirtualdubMod 2 audio streams

I have a problem
i have video(without audio stream) and two audio streams(in wav).
i'd like to add this two audios to the video.
but i have little problem - i want to convert them to mp3, but the first id OK, and the second is always without compression.
i want them to not be in the same compression(one i want mono and second stereo), but if i tried that audios were in tyhe same compression it also didnt work.

i dont know what to do with it, could anyone help me?i havent found any forum based for virtualdubmod so i asked here.

Why not encode them with lame or besweet first and just use VDM to mux the final result?
