I looked using search but I did not find anything that helped me.. I apologize if I missed it
Anyways, I used SpruceUp for the first time last night and I used one of the backgrounds that comes with the program.
I created my menu, put on a few buttons, etc and tested it out. It worked great. Perfectly
Then I burned it and put it in 2 different DVD players and the same thing happens to both, the Menu is cut off all around the edges
If I put it in a software player, it works just fine and the menu looks great, however on both stand alone dvd players the menu is messed up.
I have tried changing the aspect on both dvd players to 16:9, 4:3 PS and 4:3 LB
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Pull out your manual and read up on quot;Menu Safe Areaquot; and TV overscanning.
when you create a menu in the bottom toolbar near the fonts there are a couple of little helpers to assist you (4 icons ) .
From left to right
There are rulers ........ [ctrl+r] to use as a measuring guide
There is a Grid ......... [ctrl+G] which superimposes a grid over the top of the menu to show how nicely lined up your text is etc...
And also the feature you will need to use ......... Safe areas [ctrl-T] this is highlighted by a red and yellow stitch line around the menu area , anything inside this area will definately show on your screen when you have authored.
Finally there is the Drop shadow button which gives ur text a quot;presencequot; by adding a shadow behind the textHope this helps |
