I had a .srt subtitle to add to a DVD...but before it,I'd like to check if the subtitle is synchronised to the DVD...how I can?how I can play the DVD with the subtitle?
SubtitleWorkshop I think can't play DVDs...please help me
bye
SubtitleCreator lets you do just that.
And not only can you check if they're in sync, you can also fix the synchronization, if you like... (for the latter, you must enable DVD synchronization in the Settings menu)
hi Cons,
can you tell me what I have to do to play the DVD from SubtitleCreator?
i had clicked Show DVD synchronisation window,then I clicked the button quot;Open a new DVDquot; but when i choose or an IFO file or a VOB file it says me quot;Could not get interfacesquot;
You must close all other application which are playing movies in windows.
Another program for synhronization subtitles with dvd is subtitleprocessor. But it has so many functions that is hard to get started at first.
:-(...I'm sure that,when i use SubtitleCreator,i had all other softwares closed..
now i have tried SubtitleProcessor and ArpaKollaPlayer...they both say quot;Can't render one or more DVD streamquot; ...WHYY?? :-(((((
You must have some kind of dvd player software installed before you can use SC or STW.
STW will play the dvd but won't be able to play sequentially(the proggy won't find quot;nextquot; vob for you and won't start from the quot;lastquot; vob but it will always start from zero, speaking og time of course). In order to make STW work you must join your vob files into 1 big file.
If I remember well, will windows media player classic play dvds even if you don't have other S/W but I'm not 100% sure of this.
IIRC, the DVD player integrated in SubtitleCreator is based on the standard DirectX functions. T3NAX, try updating your version of Windoze with the latest DirectX...
Ok...thanks,i resolved...now I can view the dvd...but,but with SubtitleCreator I can't see the subtitle..when I load it,I see it..when I open the Ifo,subtitles disappear from the screen..but I choose white text and transparent background.. |
