Problem with LG GSA4160B recently, firmware, burning, started

This all started recently when i began using the TDK printable disc's. I get alot of errors when it is halfway through burning, i'm using dvd shrink to make the backup. I also upgraded the firmware for dvd writer and i still get the errors. Not sure what to do. Anyone have any suggestions to help me so i won't keep wasting disc's.

Are you using NERO BurningROM (either automatically in DVD Shrink, or manually), DVD Decrypter or ingBurn for the actual burning (DVD Shrink doesn't do the burning)?

Post the log from one of your failed burns, as saying I get alot of errors when it is halfway through burning

is too vague...

Since it isn't obvious to you, try a different media.
