I found at last my favorite cartoon =Transformers
But the problem is ,they are in mp4 format. And i want to convert them in to the vcd or avi format. But my encoding programs(tmpgenc, winavi, virtualdub and virtualdubmod) doesn`t want to encode it. One time Winavi encoded it ,but then there was Music and the Cartoon to see ,but the Speach was gone! I thought that i had too much codecs packs on my pc so i deinstalled all of them, cleaned everything with regcleaner. And now i got these codecs on my pc :
Matroska, Divx, Xvid, FFDShow, Guardian Knot(Codec or Codec Pack, dont know?!), AViSynth 2.5, Haali Media Splitter, VobSub 2.3. And i only got SP1(so i dont think that could mess up my programs). After i installed all the codecs, Winavi comes with the message quot; Can not be renderd.Make sure file can be played with Windows Media playerquot;, and Tmpgenc doesnt even support it. And heres an GSpot pic:
i hope you guys/gals can help me !!!
if you say you want to convert it to VCD i would think that you want to play it on a standalone which gives the conversion a sense
but you also are happy with converting to .avi, so i feel the need to ask you why you want to do the conversion? playback problems maybe?
I want to convert it so that i can watch it on tv. If i cant turn it in a vcd then probally a avi.And with an i can turn to an vcd or else. Thats why i want to convert it.
does your standalone player support mpeg-4 in .avi? cause than you propably dont have to reencode the video
no thats why i want to convert it
ok
actually of course it all depends on which VCD creator you use and what input formats it supports
when it supports directshow input you can feed it the .mp4 right away, when you have the right directshow filters installed (which is the case if you can play the .mp4 in any directshow player, like wmp10, bsplayer, mpc aso...)
when it supports the typical divx .avi files, than simply grab mp4ui, load the mp4 and extract it to .avi
of course the audio (which is surely aac) has to be decoded to .wav propably (can be done with faad2, in qt or any other tool handling aac propably)
as i did that , the speach is REALLY quiet but the musik and the sounds are ok, what can i do about that?

hm ac3s from dvd also have this and it should be corrected when recoding to another audio format, eg aac, which wasnt propably the case when encoding your aac stream
actually i dunno what to do about this, best would propably be to start a new thread about that issue in the audio forum
I use vcd creator,it can convert mp4. |
