JVC GR-DVL510 Driver Help! computer, everything, searching, possible, beyond

I am a total newbie to this whole gig and i am getting beyond frusterated. I own a JVC GR-DVL510 and firewire card (IEEE 1394). I have no idea what company makes the card. I have everything installed by a computer place. They did all the tests and everything is running correctly. They said to get everything running right i need to find a driver for the camera. Well... after searching for 4 hours checking every possible site i have found nothing. I also found a whole bunch of people in the same dilema that i am in. I tired JVC support and it was a joke. If anyone knows of an exsisting driver for my camera please let me know. Any help at all will be appreciated!

Thanks for the advice, but i already checked almost 30 different driver sites and was one of them. Thanks anyways. Any other comments or suggestions please let me know.

i think i figured out the problem. isnt it the program that reads the camera not the computer? That would be the reason the firewire didnt come with a driver and the camera didnt include one either.
