HELP with making 3D sounds

I'd like you to help me with this problem....

I have to create an animation (a ball jumping on a table) and I'd like tu make a real 3D sound for it... I mean you are sitting in the center of that table and listening the ball jumping around your head. I havent find any software which can realize it ( Just FUTURE SOUND 3D can do something like that but it use it's internal file systm *.fst ??? or ... i dont know exactly. It can be exported only to 2ch stereo Wav.... so 3D sound is gone...
