PowerCDR Express 5.0 (May 2002)

Hi All!

I joined this community last week with the hopes of learning more about DVD copying and get some advice at the same time.

I was wondering if anyone has heard of a program called PowerCDR Express 5.0 by Englemann Media?

In general I like the program and it creates excellent burned copies of DVD's in VCD format.  However I am having 2 minor problems with it.

1. Upon completion of each disk, my CD-Writer becomes locked and I am forced to reboot in order to extricate my completed disk.

2. For some inexplicable reason, I cannot burn my finished product onto an 80-minute CD, even though I have created the files in 80-minute mode using DVDx 2.0.

I have written to Englemann Media twice in the past 3 months and have never received a reply.  I also checked the boards here and have found that no one has posted anything regarding PowerCDR Express.

Does anyone happen to know how to resolve these issues?  Has anyone used the product before?
