Huge oversize error using Sceneaid
Trying to convert a DVD of Northern Exposure Season 3 to DVD5. Using the big three method (new). It has duplicate vob-ids which doitfast detected. I then demuxed it normally and loaded to scene aid, which then encoded it and opened scenarist. I first go that color pallete subtitle error. I was able to fix that by changing all the subs to use the scenarist default pallete. Now I have a problem with the dvd being oversized. The final dvd size is 5305mb. I checked my size settings in sceneaid and there set at safe. What is causing this problem?
First of all, what version are you using?
That palette error should be corrected in the lastest version
Second, make sure you don't have the quot;use original assetsquot; option checked
If #2 isn't selected, then I need to know if you used the Doitfast4u bitrate calcs (default) or if you reconfigured scenaid to use it's own internal ones.
If scenaid, I need a directory of the muxed VIDEO_TS as well as the Scenaid.log file
First off, thanks for the reply. I think It may have to do with me selecting it to rip the second vts set, I was using the older sceneaid, i've now upgraded and am trying again just processing the main vts set. I'll let you know what the results are.
you can easily process multiple VTS sets w/ the Big3..

Ok, I tryed it again and had the same problem. I didnt have option 2 checked and I used the sceneaid bitrate calcs. here is the scenarist log.
