WinDVD Platinum amp; DivX3 problem... only, problem, content, instead

When you install WinDVD PLATINUM (from InterVideo), it installs the DivX5 codec.
Before that I've installed the DivX3 codec (the only one that _rox_ !:d) ...
When I try to play DivX3 content, Media Player (and other playback soft) use the DivX5 codec instead of the DivX3 codec
Does someone know how I can fix this that DivX3 content is played by the DivX3 codec?
