convo3d filter, between, getting, usually

hey all...happy new year.
i'm getting some blocks in a few parts of my rip and i want to smoothen the movie a little more to get a bit better compression. should i use a smooth filter too? any tips would be greatly appreciated. i put convolution3d on preset moviehq and after the crop but before the bicubic resize. is this the way it works? or am i supposed to put it after the resize? thanks

Putting C3D between the crop and the resize usually gives very eyepleasing results. If more compression is needed then you can put it after the resize. This will make the movie both more smooth and more compressible.

Are you sure you're using a low enough resolution?

yes...making sure the compression is from 55-75%
