IfoUpdate woes

This question is mainly for jdobbs but anyone feel free to help me.

First of all, I can do it the manual way but now have decided to try out IfoUpdate.

Just created ifos for movie only. My options in creating new ifo files were: Create 1 PGC only/Create Chapter for each cell

When done, I know I have to go into new Vts_01_0.ifo and correct the following according to the original ifo:

-Chapters
-Cells
-Menu attributes (Audio and Subtitles)
-Subtitle colors

I'm more concern about correcting the chapters as the cell count hasn't changed but the number of chapters did.

In IfoUpdate,

Original IFO Path: C:\DVD\Vts_01_0.ifo
Authored IFO Path: C:\DVD\1\Vts_01_0.ifo
Backup IFO Path:   C:\DVD\1\Vts_01_0.IFO.BAK

Whether I choose Standard or Cell Only Mode, I get no errors.

So why won't my new Vts_01_0.ifo chapters adjust to the associated cells exactly like the original ifo's?  Am I doing something wrong?

This is a newbie question but is IfoUpdate only for authoring programs like Maestro?

maybe the adresses are wrong, since you did a movie only...
but in theory it should work.
