AFAIK, I can't demux a subtitle stream in DVD Decrypter and then use that .sub file in an authoring program right (Scenarist, for example)? You have to always use Subrip on a VOB to convert the subs to Scenarist format. Correct?
try opening that .sup file in rubrip and then try to convert it to scenarist, then you'll know... and after you post your experiment results, i'll also know!!!!
Well, as I thought, that doesn't work... It says there's an error in the packet header at each LBA. So, I guess that means you can't use it then, right? I'm just wondering if there's some other way to convert this .sub file, perhaps without Subrip.
Nevermind, spent some more time searching today, and yes you do indeed have to always use VOBs, at least for good results.
you can vobsub and then use subresynch to output to sst.. however, subresynch doesn't support dropframes which is a problem for NTSC people. |
