Newbie divx menu test only, modifying, default, because, already

here's what i managed to do by modifying the the default images menu within divx converter.

unfortunally i couldnt post a screenshot of divxplayer showing the menu because everytime i closed the divxplayer the saved screenshot would go black

i managed to recreat the menu with paint shop pro

its only a very rudimentar menu
anyone heard about a new to creat divxmenus?

A hint might be helpful to you:
as you've already found out, you can alter the menu background video by changing the bmp as you did, keep in mind that converter will crop that image based on the source files that are being dropped into converter.  If the source apsect is 1.77:1, or 2.35:1 or alike, then you will get a widescreen menu, if the resolution is 4:3 or lower, then you will get a full screen menu.  Therefore, you are making your own quot;coolquot; background video, make sure you leave enough space around, so however Converter decides to crop the bmp, part of your creation won't be cropped.
