Hi,
I've noticed that when I set up my x264 settings, the first
pass always seems to have some weird target kbps. For
example:
js/x264.JPG
As you can see, the target kbps is 1384. It seems weird
since GKnot's calculation of the kbps is 923 (for my specified
file size). The second pass settings is right - 923 kbps.
Is it supposed to be like this? Or should I change the first pass
target kbps to what GKnot calculated?

The target bitrate on the first pass shouldnt matter since you arent keeping it, and its outputting to a 'null' file.
Im suprised the box isnt greyed out like it is in the xvid vfw gui..
