movie skips at halfway point/problem with ifoedit?

I just burned a movie to dvd, it was a in a video ts folder in vob, bup, ifo format. The video folder has two vob files and it is at the point where the second file would play on the disc that the movie jumps and the audio goes out of synch for a few seconds. I burned the disc as follows:

I took the original avi file and encoded it with diko to convert from 23fps to 25 fps pal and to give me the video ts folder containing the movie files, i then loaded the files into ifoedit to set video flags at 16:9 and dropped the files into an iso image and burned with dvddecryptor.

When setting the video flags in ifoedit i get the option to overwrite the .bup files as well as save the ifo's, i didn't do this. Have i used ifoedit incorrectly and damaged the disc file structure, do i need to overwrite the .bup files as well?

Can anybody help?

the .bup file is simply a back-up of the .ifo file and is used by the dvd player if the .ifo file is un-readable/corrupt.
so, yes, you should 'usually' select to overwrite the .bup file as well ... althoug tbh i have very much doubt this is your problem with your video going out of synch ....

Thanks JEL, i'll see if it helps.
