dvd ok in computer but dead in dvd standalone player

hi folks ,

I have tried to do the dvd9_dvd5 full back up with we are soldiers, I did the tutorial swaped the maestro movie with the original ,re-named the resulting vobs and then used ifoupdate for the main movie ifo file, then used ifoedit to getvts sectors ,I also did this for one of the extras and  I got it to be 4.28GB .

The trouble is it is dead in my dvd player, but it works in my computer with powerdvd with all the extras,
I havent changed the way I burn the discs and this is the first problem like this I have come across, I have retried get vts sectors, it plays okay in ifoedit aswell

any clues would be very helpful  

Just forget what I just wrote , re-wrote the dvd on a new disc,worked a treat  

the vobs u downsampled, were they multipgc, if so, that guide don't work as stated.
