shit frames only, default, getting, through

hey all.i'm getting shit frames in a lot of my movies...just in one small scene over a few frames...but i don't use anti-shit and i set it to anti-freeze only. i also set the drfs to 2-4  and the keyframe drfs to 2-4. is there a way to get rid of these awful shit frames without affecting my drfs? maybe through ecf?

if i enable anti-shit then it will affect my keyframes though. what exactly is happening when shit frames are put out? not enough bits for the scene? thanks   KroniK

If you mean frames full of luma blocking...
These problems often appears with drf=2 sometimes 3 amp; 4
but it's due to a codec bug.

what you can do if you spot one, is trying to reencode
with a lesser drf (Eg using drf 3 instead of 2)
and try to see if the luma block is gone.

for that use use the ecf file
adding a line like that.
@frameNumber CL=XX #where XX is  3 , 4 or 5 instead of 2 3 4

I suggest you to try to use the antishit, but it comes with three problems:
- It is not working efficiently for this kind of shit.
(meaning you'll still have shit after the antishit saw nothing).
- It is bugged and tends to produce weird frame using strange drf.
- It sometimes produces horribles pan amp; travelling scene.esby
