Nero AVC Speeds computers, like, software, running, current

I've encoded over 50 movies and my three computers had speeds-
1stpass                                2ndpass
25fps                                   4-5fps
44fps                                   5-7fps
48fps                                   8fps

Got nero digital pro and for some reason speed is 4x

my best computer's 1st pass was 219!!
second pass like 40
Was nero running slow, was there an upgrade, or is there now a defect with my current software?

I notest myself, that ND AVC is about as twice(at least) slower than x264.
And btw, i get about 12fps on my slow 1.6 gHz pentium  with x264 @ res 608 x 256(w/ cabac, and and all default main profile options.

So you say that new version runs 4 times faster? Interesting.

Sorry disregard, since I reinstalled I forgot to swith to avc- had it on highest definition. My Bad
