AVI2SVCD stops at RunbbMPEG 68% ...

Hi everybody,
converting an AVI to SVCD everything goes smoothly until it stops at 68 % of quot;Executing RunbbMPEGquot;. So it finish the first quot;bbMPEG_Muxed_File00.mpg00quot; file and seems not to be able to keep going for the second.
I've tried several times and ways, I've found questions in this fora relating to AVI2SVCD stoping -- but always at audio extraction or CCE, so couln't find anything for help.
Makes this sense for anyone?
Here is the log and hopes for some bell ringing.
thanks,

you see...?

hi all, is there something wrong with my exposing the question or nobody really ever came through this problem?
tips concerning either posibility would be greatly apreciated.
thanks in advance
Cinta

It would great if someone could provide a solution as I'm experiencing the same thing.

you could try finishing the rest manually if crash recovery doesn't help...other than that, i'm not too experienced with using avi2svcd

thanks hoozdapimp
it's also my second time with avi2SVCD, the first one ended up ok.
on your suggestion about crash recovery, it ends up again at the same point: 68% of quot;Executing RunbbMPEGquot;
on the other, could you precise a bit on what do you mean with finisching it manually?
much appreciated
cinta

isit a pal or ntsc avi and are you converting it to pal?

it is a Pal (25.000 fps) file and I get the audio file and mpv file without problem, it just stops at muxingamp;cutting.

try muxing with tmpg and see if it freezes as well.

Sometime ago I had issues with muxing a mpg that was from a mpg.  What I did was go to the bbmpeg setting and uncheck Add SVCD offsets.

I have no idea if this will help with your problem or not.

If that doesn't work try muxing by hand using BBmpeg.

I had exactly the same problem with a avi file,
I checked with others avi, and everything was perfect.
It was impossible recover from Dvd2svc.
For solve I download the latest “bbMPEG” v 1.24 beta 18 and
followed a guide for “Cut or Multiplex a SVCD(MPEG-2) with BBMPEG” bbmpegedit.htm
For this I used the *.m2v and *.mp2 files generated by Dvd2svcd.
After used VCDeasy for made cds image. And burn it.

I hope will be helpfullythanks
I'm trying

i had this problem for quite awhile.....
i did 2 things
first a re-install of the bundle...
next when you set the cd sizes in the bitrate tab.... enter new values

for an 800 MB CD use 795
for a 740 MB CD use 735

good luck
