Nero Recode bitrate amp; profiles

Can anyone explain to me why the bitrate goes down as I choose a quot;higherquot; profile in Nero Recode.  Example... Duration 01:55.17; Fit to 80min CD
quot;HDTV-AVCquot; - 733.0kbps, quot;Standard-AVCquot; - 765.0kbps.

cause the default audio setting will change as you change the profile

of course when doing a 2pass encode the final bitrate on the outcome encode should always be the same (the one you set it should encode to) no matter what codec setting nor profile set
