anamorphic only, appear, method, really

I have some DVDs that appear to be in widescreen format (they play in powerDVD as widescreen), but I am only given two options for aspect ratio.

16:9 (borders added, encoded as 4:3) and
4:3 (no borders, encoded as 4:3)

I am not given the Anamorphic option.

Anyone know what I could be doing wrong?

You should really do a search.
If you want to use this method that is not receomended for SVCD's since it's doesn't work with the majority of DVD players you need to set DVD2SVCD to advanced mode on the misc tab.
