I have many OGM containers that have Ogg audio. i will soon be getting a portable movie player that will have to convert files from avi to smaller sizes. So, to make things easier, I was looking at ways to convert my OGM files into Avi files with wav audio formats to then be converted into the format the movie player uses.
I was using VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.1 and when I made an audio conversion from OGM to OGM, it worked fine, however, the audio will not encode when I do OGM to Avi conversion. I've tried both PCM and mp3, and both will end up not being in the movie file (I know that ogg won't work in an Avi file, but I have no clue why a conversion FROM ogg will not work in an avi file). Is there any way to get Vdubmod to make the conversion from OGM to AVI with the converted audio intact (since I don't want to add an extra step in this process)?
Try to separate video and audio using VDubMod (I recommended reencoding to pcm wav in VDubMod; but if you want to save as ogg, and reencode in Nandub, do so), and then mix it using NanDub.
VDub amp; VDubmod don 't processing audio as well as Nandub do!
