New DVD-RB Pro guide published

. I hope Doom9 admins dont mind me posting it here, as I would like to have the real experts to have a look at it and perhaps give constructive crticism. Its a basic level guide, mainly targeted for newbies, but more advanced updates may follow.

It is very basic... it doesn't even cover the video segment editor!

It really needs a lot more work IMO.

P.S. Well, not to totally slam the guy, he did make an effort to let others know about the great program called DVD-Rebuilder Pro.

Thanks for the feedback... And as said before, the guide was ment to be very basic one. The 'extended version' will follow up when 1.0 is released...

That would be great and if also it would cover the advanced settings for DVD-RB and possibly what settings to use for certain types of films and TV series. (e.g. CG animation, action films, or your average drama film like Shawshank Redemption as for TV-series animation is very popular. Series such as Family Guy, Simpsons, Batman TAS amp; one of my favorites which is in another category altogether The X-Files Season DVDs.)

I'll look into this suggestion. I think I can add some kind of 'recommended settings' section to the guide.

Yeah, I was aware of that. Finnish parliament accepted the new copyright law yesterday  This means that you are not allowed to bypass any kind of copy protection on a optical disc. The funniest thing about the law is that it's a bigger crime to bypass the copy protection than if you downloaded e.g. audio CD from Internet.

I guess this means many changes for Finnish DVD conversion sites, including mpegit.fi...
