I was encoding Thirteen Days. All of the previous steps had gone through properly, without a problem. It got to making the CD Images and on the creation of the second CD image (out of 3 CDs) it encountered a 'Stream Write Error'.
I looked at the log and just before it went into making the second CD it said that I had 201 MB free on my C:\. Now I have 2 questions. First, when I go and check the remaining free space in My Computer it says that I have 2.23 GB of free space left. Now is DVD2SVCD miss reading my free space or what is happening?
Also, is there anyway to start encoding it from a spot before the error occurred? It took 11 hours in TMPEGEnc to encode it and I would rather not have to go through that again. I looked through the Qamp;A and I saw some questions asking about the Recover feature. By it's name it seems like it would do what I'm asking, but I never saw a question asked that would prompt a response on how to use it.
Any help with either of these questions would be greatly appreciated. If any additonal information is required, I will gladly post it.

Make sure you recycle bin is empty.
Make sure you are NOT using Norton unerase or other like programs.
With the thousands of posts here I can't believe you have never read of the recover option.
It is very easy to use. Click on it, load the d2s file, select the portion you want to redo, click go.Mark |
