Multichannel WAVs/ mono WAVs

Hi there,

Does any one know how to turn six mono channel WAVs into a six channel file? Can dBPowerAMP do it? If so, how?

Additionally, is there any multichannel WAV support in Premiere Pro 2.0? When I create a 5.1 audio track, it doesn't drop in multichannel WAVs into the 5.1 track, preferring to generate six more audio channels! Arrrghhh!

I know only one way to do that. This way is via BeLight. Go File -gt; Create mux File and you shold get dialog like this
Clicking on the left buttons FL,FR,C,LFE,SL,SR you can load wav files. Then press save as to save MUX file. You can aslo change quot;select output format to wavquot;, and click Load automaticly mux file as input file.

Now go to WAV tab.

choose like as showed in picture and hit Start Processing
Beautiful. Thanks for that. Now to tackle Premiere Pro. Surely it wouldn't limit me to AC3/DTS?

AFAIK video containers can't use wav6chan, then you need a encoder to ac3 or dts. Read Surcode in ADOBE PREMIERE PRO at

About convert mono wav lt;-gt; multichannel wav you can use also WaveWizard.
