I assume you're using GordianKnot?  If so, make sure when you first use DGIndex that you select Video gt; Field Operation gt; Forced FILM.

thanks cwr03 for advice.

I'm not used GordianKnot.. and

I tried forced film, honor, ignore all but, nothing changed..

I don't know what's the problem...

What backup programs are you using, and which guide are you following?Is your goal simply to convert a DVD to an .avi file?

@Cloud shadow:
I had a similar problem in a German version... because, I did not remove the differents angles during the decryption progress, or I didn't select the one I wanted.
Star Wars has differnets angles, for instance, at the beginning, to make the presentation in different languages.
Did you select only one angle when you ripped the movie?
That could be the problem... I hope.
Greetings!

ammck55 // i'm using smartripper, with no exact guide, just as i used to made d2v file with dgindex.. yes, that's my goal..

castellanos // select only one angle? ok i'll try it.. thanks for help

The .d2v file is intended to load into an encoding program such as GordianKnot.  Unless there is another use for it of which I am unaware, it's not meant to be viewed.  Perhaps you should look into AutoGK.  You will also need to rip the DVD in IFO mode with file splitting set to None.
