How to use Lame MP3 Encoder with WinAVI?
Is it possible to use Lame MP3 Encoder with the WinAVI video converter program?
I tried installing a few Lame MP3 encoding components in Windows, but couldn't get it to show up in the audio encoder drop-down list in WinAVI.

What exactly did you install? Do they show up in VirtualDub's audio compression list?
I installed the LAME ACM MP3 Codec 0.9.0 - 3.96.
It shows up fine under Audio Codecs in the Windows Control Panel (in Sounds and Audio Devices). But it does not show up in the drop-down list of WinAVI and other video conversion programs.
Does this ACM Codec need specific software to be used, like VirtualDub and Flask MPEG? |
