Maestro and Netstream 2000 Problems

Hi All,

I have just upgraded my PC and am having problems getting Maestro to preview / play mpeg through my Sigma Netstream 2000 card. The PC is based around an Asus A8N-SLI motheroard which carries the NVIDIA chipset. I have installed the latest XP drivers from Sigma and the DVD Station software player works perfectly, playing from either DVD, VOB or compiled Video TS folder. However when I try to play a movie in Maestro or preview a motion menu, Maestro closes without warning.

I have tried different drivers from the Sigma site and gone back to the earliest version thinking that as Maestro is long dead that Sigma may not have included support for Maestro. I have tried 2.0 2.2 and 2.5 but the same each time.

I even bought a new card just in case I had somehow zapped mine when removing it from the last PC but the new card is exactly the same. I have emailed Sigma 4 times over the last month but have not received any reply.

Can any of you help? Someone somewhere must have had the same problem as the Netstream card is a Spruce recommended decoder but I have searched the forums both here and at Tully without finding a solution.

Many thanks, Boggie
