When I encode anything to mpeg2 I get a flickering black box in the bottom right corner of the video when in windowed mode and in the center when in full screen when I play it with MPC. The black box isnt there when I play the mpeg2 in PowerDVD and its not there when I view it with GSPOT. It does this with mpeg2s created with both HC017 and CCE.
Another weird thing about it is that when I try to use GSPOTs test on the bottom clicking 1 under Vid column gives me quot;unable to render the videoquot; but clicking 1 under A/V will play it (without the flickering box) and says using [src]-gt;[Nero Video Decoder]-gt;[A]-gt;[Video Renderer]
what is being used (in MPC) to decode the video? is it using its internal decoder?
In options gt; playback gt; output I use VMR9(renderless) and for internal filters I have them all checked in source and transform filters except matroska.
hmm. i'm out of ideas. try disabling MPC's native decoding and see if that helps. or you could try output thru overlay mixer (faster anyway). as a long (very long) shot you could update your viddy card drivers.
If I use the other output I get a ActiveMovie window that is very annoying. How do i get rid of it?
Just found out it only flickers when MPC starts with quot;Keep aspect ratioquot; checked. If I start with that unchecked then check it, it will play without the flicker. |
